We are seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to join our client's Enterprise Technology team and make a significant impact by effectively communicating initiatives, programs, and policies to their diverse employee base.
As a Senior Communications Specialist, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the Enterprise Technology team, ensuring seamless communication of new programs, services, tools, and policy changes to employees across the company. You'll develop comprehensive communications plans, manage stakeholder relationships, and execute multiple communication strategies with precision and creativity.
This is a hybrid role in which candidates must be local to Burbank, Seattle or Orlando.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a communications consultant to the Enterprise Technology team for any internal communications on new programs, services, tools, or policy changes that need to be widely distributed to employees across the Company.
- Develop comprehensive communications plans, from discovery through execution, for tech-to-tech and end-user audiences.
- Define, capture and report on KPIs/Metrics in a concise manner; focusing on historical trends and themes.
- Assist with complex stakeholder management required to achieve objectives.
- Execute on multiple communication strategies while keeping in mind timing, collisions, and messaging cohesion.
- Stay informed of technology and employee events and communicate to Enterprise Tech community.
- Self-motivated to proactively find tech stories across the company to amplify in various channels.
- Support internal team events (Town Hall, All Hands, Cybersecurity Awareness Month, etc.) as needed.
- Manage various editorial calendars, coordinate and help prioritize multiple communications requests.
- Project manage communication campaigns as needed.
- Produce communications materials, route for approvals, and manage complex distribution of finished pieces.
- Possess Wordpress, HTML and CSS knowledge and be able to manipulate code in order to create email templates and post content on our intranet.
- Have intermediate design skills, be able to manipulate templates and images and produce original creative for communications materials as needed.
- Contribute to ideation, editorial and technical creation, of newsletters.
- Translate complex technical communications into an easily digestible, voice for employees.
- Work closely with communications, video, graphics and events team to to develop compelling content for distribution.
- Edit and distribute senior level executive communications on their behalf.
- Write stories for multiple digital platforms.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in internal communications, preferably in the technology sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in Wordpress, HTML, and CSS for content creation.
- Intermediate design skills with experience in Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
- Ability to translate technical jargon into clear and concise communications.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and amplifying tech stories.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
