We have a great new opportunity for a Senior Manager of Product Marketing with our client in New York City! As the Senior Manager of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for driving market intelligence efforts, bringing market insights to the product roadmap, and acting as a key partner to commercial functions in North America.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Promote the vision and significance of Product Marketing in coordination with key stakeholders, including the Global Head of Product Marketing, Product Management, Commercial teams, and Business Development.
  • Take charge of market analysis endeavors and supervise market intelligence mechanisms, utilizing industry research, customer input, and competitor insights to validate assumptions.
  • Provide North American Sales and commercial teams with thorough Go-To-Market (GTM) materials, knowledge, and assurance to effectively introduce new or existing products to the market and secure victories.
  • Collaborate with sales, product management, business development, and market research teams to pinpoint customer value propositions and propel the development of commercial opportunities.
  • Sustain a profound understanding of the North American market landscape and its distinctive demands to steer team education, influence product roadmap priorities, and craft competitive messaging.
  • Forecast trends in ad tech and position the company as an innovative leader in the market.
  • Create documentation for various phases of the GTM process, such as Lean Canvas, Total Addressable Market (TAM) analysis, monetization strategies, Product Marketing Manager (PMM) Research Summaries, and launch strategy decks.
  • Execute market segmentation and TAM analysis for product launches, define optimal customer profiles, craft product positioning and value propositions, establish pricing and packaging strategies, and articulate key performance indicators (KPIs) for comparison.
  • Nurture strong collaboration between Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to consistently deliver clear, compelling, and distinctive product positioning in a fiercely competitive environment.
  • Take ownership of crafting customer roadmaps for different segments, prioritizing both agility and accuracy.
  • Institute a formal program for regularly engaging customers and collecting market feedback.
  • Develop resources for competitive analysis, including battle cards, competitor grids, and positioning maps.

Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Manager
  • Preference for candidates with an MS or MBA degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, or product management.
  • Extensive background of 8-10+ years in the ad-tech, media, or marketing industry.
  • Technically proficient with a deep understanding of programmatic ad tech and ad measurement.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and sustain a repeatable Go-To-Market (GTM) process.
  • Mastery of simplifying complex concepts.
  • Previous management experience and a keen interest in recruiting and mentoring new team members.
  • Intelligent and down-to-earth demeanor.
