We are looking for an Art Director who is passionate about driving innovation and delivering exceptional design solutions for our client.
As an Art Director, you will be a creative visionary, driving innovation and strategic thinking to solve complex business challenges. You'll lead and inspire diverse teams to deliver exceptional design solutions that elevate client experiences and achieve business objectives. From conceptualization to execution, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the visual narratives that drive client engagements.
We are requesting candidates from mid-level cities (Atlanta, Boston, Cleveland, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Philadelphia) with reasonable travel distance to our client's office for occasional visits. Position will work virtually from home and must have a strong internet connection.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and influence innovative thinking and strategic visions to develop unique solutions for the clients' business challenges.
- Collaborate with internal clients and teams to develop creative briefs, storyboards, and layouts that effectively communicate design ideas and advance business objectives.
- Initiate and lead creative ideation sessions, empowering teams to develop award-winning deliverables.
- Showcase offerings and promote innovation while fostering exceptional client relationships.
- Mentor and coach creatives, providing constructive feedback to enhance conceptual skills and drive project success.
- Drive development of creative briefs and persuade clients to follow design direction that aligns with their strategic vision.
- Liaise between groups to identify and overcome challenges, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.
- Stay current with digital design trends and leverage advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Director
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related discipline, or equivalent work experience as an Art Director.
- Minimum of eight years of related art direction and design experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed agency or in-house team environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead by example and drive innovation from diverse project teams.
- Sound business acumen to comprehend stakeholders' strategic vision and influence creative brief development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate and passionately advocate for design solutions.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping, Microsoft Office, and Teams.
- Executive presence and the ability to foster trust and collaboration with internal team members and business partners.
