Compensation Range: $40 - 50 per hour
We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer who is a strategic thinker with a solid design background and a passion for innovation for our client, a Fortune 500 retail corporation.
In this role, your designs will help elevate the design aesthetic across departments and drive a great customer experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about type and enjoys working collaboratively within a diverse team to bring projects to life. Candidates must have a great portfolio of work showcasing design prowess, are self-motivated and work well with individuals and groups alike.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and design creative assets that adhere to brand guidelines.
- Continuously elevate and push the envelope on the look and feel of the brand's aesthetic.
- Design a wide variety of digital collateral like site, email and marketing assets, as well as branding elements when needed.
- Juggle multiple projects on an assigned timeline.
- Support and maintain the strategic alignment of design programs and assets under the guidance of senior creative management.
- Actively work to develop cross-functional relationships and foster collaboration amongst peers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in design, Marketing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field.
- A strong design portfolio with a breadth of projects demonstrating detailed thought process, attention to detail, and strong executional skills.
- Excellent design, color, and typographic skills and a solid understanding of design principles and industry trends
- Great written and oral communication/presentation skills. They are articulate and can advocate their design decisions and communicate effectively with senior management.
- Strong collaboration/partnering skills - we are a dynamic team where thoughts and ideas are exchanged freely and collaboration is strongly encouraged.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and personable.
