Cella is seeking a Senior Digital Content Producer-Newsroom to join our client, a large multinational pharmaceutical company, in Rahway, New Jersey for a 9-month contract opportunity.
The Senior Digital Content Producer is an integral part of the content team within Global Communications. This role is responsible for creating and implementing day-to-day communications content activities and related operations across owned channels (i.e., corporate intranet, Viva Engage, corporate website, social media and others as needed).
As part of the content team, the Senior Digital Content Producer will drive the creation of content across all of the company's owned channels, coordinating closely across the Global Communications function and with business partners. This individual will be responsible for crafting internal and external communications by managing, creating, editing and flighting content for an ever-expanding set of channels and platforms and should be comfortable creating and managing content across multimedia formats, including, but not limited to articles, videos, podcasts and social media.
This position requires a candidate with a discerning and adaptive editorial style, with the ability to adopt and master brand guidelines and tone of voice to effectively relay company messaging through high-quality communications across a variety of channels. Given the global footprint of the company, this position will need to be knowledgeable of cultural differences that shape communication needs and preferences across all regions of the world.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as part of a team of digital content creators for owned channels.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across the communications organization to implement and manage an integrated content calendar, under the direction of the Editor-in-Chief.
- Generate, edit and publish content across multiple internal and external channels.
- Leverage metrics in partnership with the channels and analytics team to tailor content to key audiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and follow strategic direction, key objectives and themes set by the company's HQ digital strategy.
- Maintain consistency of corporate messaging and act as a steward of company brand.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Education: Bachelors
- 5+ years of experience in professional advertising, agency, communications or marketing environment.
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
- Experience in a newsroom environment, ideally digital.
- Experience managing tight timelines and budget.
- Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Ability to juggle competing demands and high-pressure situations.
- Superior editorial judgement and storytelling skills.
- In-depth understanding of target audience, highly effective writing and expertise in high-impact strategic messaging to multiple stakeholder groups.
- Attention to detail, particularly around grammar, spelling, and following AP style.
- Knowledge of communications/marketing, project management, content development for digital channels.
- Professional social media experience a plus.
