Space and Occupancy Planner (Hybrid)

Compensation Range: $40 - 50 per hour

Our client is currently seeking a skilled Space and Occupancy Planner to support the development of their Portfolio Strategy in the Americas Region!

In this role, you will be responsible for leading master planning, managing space planning projects, updating floor plans, and maintaining an up-to-date database of all drawings for locations across the region. The ideal candidate has a background in architecture, interior design, engineering, or corporate real estate space planning.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Produce Test Fit based on workplace concept programming.
  • Organize and consolidate all plan documents for Americas Region Buildings, including construction documents, seating charts, and program standards.
  • Ensure plans are kept up to date with any changes (furniture, equipment, seating assignments, etc.).
  • Create seating plan scenarios based on business demand and standards.
  • Update drawings for furniture changes to support workplace sensor demand.
  • Manage furniture change requests for Americas locations, working closely with the furniture dealer and facility manager.
  • Input and maintain accurate space data in the global HR-Workplaces transaction and portfolio management database.
  • Update space measurement plans and maintain CAD and document libraries for all locations in the region.
  • Update Emergency and Life Safety/ISO maps for all locations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Education in architecture, interior design, engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5-10 years of corporate real estate space planning experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD and vector drawing platforms.
  • Understanding of Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) platforms.
  • Knowledge of Excel and Smartsheet.
  • Business acumen and entrepreneurship.
  • Expert verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish and Portuguese would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel to various locations across North and Latin America as required.
